中共迫害宗教與人權的消息被海外曝光之後，它會怎麼做？如《寒冬》報導過的江西省吉安市一天主教堂中被掛習像，此刻證據已消滅；河南跪拜毛習像的寺廟被拆等。各類迫害宗教文件保密力度加大，輿論也受到壓制。
《寒冬》近期所獲文件顯示，中共不斷加大對宗教信息的保密力度和保密措施，以阻止其有關落實宗教政策的任何信息洩漏，並清查和處罰「洩密者」，涉宗教工作的内容都標註了保密事項。同時加強對媒體和社交網絡信息審查。
