中共不斷擴充其國民的生物信息大數據庫，不光DNA血樣、人臉識別信息等，所有公民的虹膜信息也被強制採集，並加速虹膜檢測設備普及。虹膜被認為是除DNA外最可靠的生物特徵，也被認爲是中國控制公民的重要工具。
為確保民眾不信教，中共利用各種手段極力醜化宗教，給民眾洗腦。醜化宗教漫畫，宣傳反宗教内容的免費技能培訓班，詆毀被中共列入「邪教」名單的宗教團體的巡迴文藝演出等，都是中共推行反宗教宣傳的常用手段。
重慶市大舉整改宗教造像，豐都縣世界道文化觀光遊覽聖地天堂山景區一尊高達33米的玉帝頭像面部被抹平，改成大型宣傳畫。多所寺廟大佛也遭強拆。有村民諷刺，佛像被太陽照射發出金光會把習近平比下去所以被拆。
一名全能神教會基督徒被捕後，遭嚴刑逼供，並被強迫上街指認其他基督徒，獲釋後有家難歸。
